My name is Curtis, and hair isn't just a job for me—it's a passion deeply ingrained since childhood. From my earliest memories of watching hair fall softly to the ground during my first haircuts to experimenting with lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide hair sprays with my sisters, I've always been fascinated by the transformative power of hair.
By the age of 13, hair had become an integral part of my identity. I vividly recall the challenges of communicating my desired hairstyle in a pre-smartphone era, leading to some memorable—albeit not always desirable—haircuts. However, these experiences sparked my interest in hairstyling, eventually leading me to pursue formal education in the field.
In 2011, I embarked on my hair education journey, securing my first job at Regis Salons in 2012. Over the years, I honed my skills, eventually transitioning into a managerial role and later being selected to train as an Artistic Director. Despite finding success in salon management and education, I ultimately realized my passion lay in hands-on hairstyling and creative expression.
In 2017, I made the pivotal decision to invest in myself and establish my own business, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my career. Through social media, particularly Instagram, I've been able to showcase my work, connect with new clients, and collaborate with renowned brands. This journey has taken me across the country and beyond, allowing me to share my love for hairstyling with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Today, as a hairstylist, my mission is simple yet profound: to prioritize the health and integrity of every client's hair, to provide personalized color services tailored to their unique needs, and to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable, happy, and accepted.
