Add Some Spice to Your Life

If you can handle the heat, spicy foods are a great way to help lose weight. Eating spicy foods such as cayenne and jalapeno peppers can speed up your metabolism and help you burn calories faster. Also, eating spicy foods may help reduce your appetite so why not add some spice to your food? Add some hot pepper to that omelets or stir fry. Hot sauce is versatile and tastes great so you can add that as well if you are not a fan of raw or cooked peppers.

Do NOT skip meals

When you wish to skip a meal, just drink one of weight loss smoothies instead. Smoothies are healthy and nutritious, so your body will say thank you. And skipping meals only slows down your metabolism and while you may lose a pound or two initially, your metabolism will quickly catch on and start to slow down to fit your eating schedule. It’s better to eat several small meals a day then skipping breakfast or lunch to “save calories.” Simply make smarter choices and prepare healthier, smaller meals. Eat a piece of fruit and some veggies for a snack. Smaller meals throughout the day will help speed up your metabolism and will fill you up so you don’t splurge at the end of the day.

Avoid Fad Diets

If you spend any amount of time online or near any type of media, you will be bombarded with ads for quick weight loss and fad diets. Do not allow yourself to be swayed by these gimmicks. They are simply a waste of time and money. And chances are, they are most likely a scam and probably unhealthy or dangerous as well. If you follow our advice you will lose weight the healthy way and keep it off! Most of time, as soon as you stop using whatever the product is, you will gain back whatever weight you have lost and then some!

Drink 8-10 Glasses of Water a Day

We can’t stress this enough. Water is so beneficial for our health. Just like green tea, drinking water can help speed up your metabolism, If you drink an ice cold glass of water as soon as you wake up, you jumpstart your metabolism. Then you should make it a habit to drink an 8 ounce glass of water once every hour until you go to bed. You will flush those nasty toxins out of your body, stay hydrated, feel fuller and have more energy!
